Welcome to the Ruediger Elementary website. Please know that your child's safety and that of our faculty and staff are our top priority. During these uncertain times, I hope you will check back here often for important announcements and other great resources for you and your children. We also encourage you to to view how to stay connected, so you will receive the latest news right away. Our school community is here for our students and their families.

 

Mentors, vendors, and volunteers are allowed on campus as long as they are serving an educational service.

 

Announcements

iMom – January 8, 5:00pm in the Ruediger Cafeteria. Registration is REQUIRED each month via the following form. All participants are invited to stay at the end of the program and join our SAC & PTO meetings in the Media Center.

SAC / PTO Meetings - The next School Advisory Council and Parent / Teacher Organization meetings will take place in-person in the media center on Thursday, January 8, beginning at 5:30pm. If you are unable to attend in person and prefer to attend virtually via Teams, please provide your teacher with an email address. A link will be emailed to you.

All Pro Dad – January 28, 9:00am in the Ruediger Cafeteria. Registration is REQUIRED each month via the following form. All participants must be scanned in our visitor assist system prior to attending.

2025-2026 Registration - Kindergarten enrollment for the Class of 2038 is open today! Visit Class of 2038 to get started. Be sure to join us for Back to School Orientation at Ruediger on Thursday, August 7, beginning at 1pm. We look forward to welcoming your students on their first day of school, Monday, August 11.

Box Tops for Education - Have you downloaded the Box Tops For Education app yet? If you haven't, you may be missing out on an opportunity to help your school and win a prize. Throughout February, we will be holding a membership drive. We will be entering all parents that are signed up for BT4E into a drawing for a Publix gift card. The parent with the most submissions will be awarded a gift basket. Don't delay get enrolled today.

  • All changes in dismissal need to be requested in writing by 1 p.m. on the date of the change via email to resoffice@leonschools.net. Please describe in detail: child's name, teacher's name, normal method of dismisal, new method of dismissal, and the effective dates. Transportation changes will not be taken after 1:00pm.

  • Safety is our top priority. We have secure campus entry points, regular emergency drills, and on-site staff trained in emergency response. Our visitor management system ensures that all guests are signed in and monitored.

  • Our elementary school day typically begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:50 p.m., with after-school programs available for families needing extended care. Breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 8:25 a.m. Supervision hours begin at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.

  • Registration is straightforward and can be done online or in person at the school office. Required documents include proof of residence, birth certificate, and immunization records. Our Student Admissions website will allow you to find all the necessary information and requirements to get your student properly enrolled quickly. If you are enrolling a Kindergarten student, please visit our Kindergarten Enrollment Website. If you have a specific question you would like to ask our school staff, you can find the school’s Admissions Liaison contact info below.

  • All visitors are required to have an ID badge on at all times while on campus. Please bring your Driver’s License to be scanned. 
    In addition, you need to have the car tag, be on the student's pick-up list, and be in our system to pick up a child.

    If you must check out your child(ren) before the regularly scheduled dismissal at 2:50 p.m., you will need to arrive before 2:15 p.m. To help ensure students' safety, we will not be able to check out students between 2:15 p.m. and dismissal at 2:50 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation.

     

  • We are pleased to have partnered with e~Funds for Schools! Parents and Guardians can make payments to the school for student fees, all online,
    in-person, or through mobile pay!

     Online Payments: By registering for e~Funds for Schools, parents can pay online for services! You will also have access to your full payment history. Make payments for multiple students in one easy transaction!
     Security: All payments are secure with the latest encryption technology. Plus, e~Funds for Schools will never post any payments to your student’s account without your prior knowledge and authorization.
     Mobile Payments: Mobile Pay is a responsive website, optimized for smart phones and tablets that use either Android or Apple operating systems. You will have the ability to make payments and update account information from the palm of your hand. Simply use your EFS username and password to login.
